Congratulations to students at Vista Continuation High School and Pathway Independent Study whose works of art and exhibitions were celebrated at artworxLA's Spring 2023 pop-up at the Autry Museum!
This spring, artworxLA students explored the Autry Museum's special exhibition, Waterways, and learned about Indigenous perspectives on water and how to become water protectors through projects in visual arts, performance and video.
They presented their creations on May 17.
Over the past 30 years, artworxLA has served over 15,000 alternative high school students through its multifaceted arts education program. Its mission is to offer a pursuable life path that inspires students to stay in school, evolve as unique individuals and flourish as creative adults.
